William P. Campbell
William P. Campbell joined Elk & Elk Co., Ltd. in January 2010 to further reinforce the firm's high-quality personal injury, nursing home malpractice and medical malpractice team.
As of January 2011, Bill had 17 years practicing law under his belt. He's a graduate of Bethany College in Bethany, West Virginia where he earned his undergraduate degree in accounting. In 1993 he earned his law degree from the University of Dayton.
Bill spent the bulk of his 16-year career between two smaller firms refining his skills as plaintiffs' counsel. Among his professional memberships are the American Association for Justice, the Ohio State Bar Association and the National Nursing Home Litigation Group.
Campbell said he is excited to bring his passion for helping his clients with the most personal, attentive legal guidance he can to a firm with Elk & Elk Co., Ltd.'s resources.
"My experience as a trial attorney now combined with the support staff and all the other resources Elk & Elk Co., Ltd. brings to the table, this is a good marriage," Campbell said soon after joining the staff at Elk & Elk Co., Ltd..
He said having access to all the resources available to him at Elk & Elk Co., Ltd. will allow him to help even more injury victims.
"It allows me to do what I enjoy doing with the assistance of probably one of the best-equipped personal injury firms out there."
At the end of the day, Campbell said, it's the personal attention he's able to provide his clients that makes him happiest.
"The way I see my role is that I'm not only here to level the playing field that is so slanted toward the insurance companies in terms of obtaining compensation for injuries," he said. "I also try to educate the people for whom I work on the process they're going through and give them some counseling; some comfort.
"I want all my clients to know that someone will guide them through the process. That, they can rely on good or bad, and I want them to know they're going to be dealt with as though they're members of my own family."
In his spare time, Bill enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters.
